NorthShore features the talented and beautiful Elisa  on blues, R&B, jazz standards and funk selections such as Susan Tedeschi’s “It Hurts So Bad”,  Chaka Khan’s “Ain’t Nobody”. and Natalie Cole's "Unforgettable." She brings a fresh interpretation to classics like David Bowie’s “Stay” and Bonnie Raitt’s “Something to Talk About.'"

This band is versatile; their energy will rock you, their soulfulness will groove you and they can get your audience up and on their feet. Or, if you prefer, these polished musicians can capture an audience with stunning instrumental solos or simply smooth Jazz and Blues.

NorthShore formed with original members Neil Gillespie, Stan Gibert and Ben Landers in late 2009, adding guitarist Michael Jordan in late 2010. In March of 2012, the singer they had been looking for just showed up at a gig at Just 1 More Bar and sang a few selections. Elisa Rodriguez now fronts NorthShore with a versatile selection of Blues, R&B, Soul, Jazz and Rock selections. This band is extremely musical. Neil Gillespie and Michael Jordan add stunning instrumental solos to Elisa's vocals and you will be amazed at the range of sounds emanating from Neil's arsenal of keyboards. The lady can sing and the boys can PLAY.

NorthShore's song list includes a rich variety of Classic Rock, Funk, Soul, Rhythm & Blues and Jazz standards, as well as some current hits. Northshore members have extensive playing experience in Jazz, Rock, Soul and Blues bands.

The result is a polished, professional band which understands the importance of maintaining a following, playing to the audience, interacting with the crowd, controlling volume, promoting the venue and delivering a good time. 

The lineup features vocalist Elisa Rodriguez, bass & vocalist Stan Gibert, keyboardist & vocalist Neil Gillespie, guitarist & vocalist Michael Jordan and drummer Ben Landers.  NorthShore is available for clubs, weddings, corporate events, grand openings, private parties, etc. and typically accepts bookings six-weeks in advance.  However, flexibility for the client’s schedule and needs is always considered a high priority.
